Learning Patience

So I learned today that we won't get our tax refund for a little over a week. Although that may not seem long to most, I was expecting it this weekend and we can't move forward with the Adoption until we get the money and I'm so anxious to get the home study done so we can get our face out there and get our baby! And every day that goes by feels like we are missing out, but I am learning to lean on God and trust that His timing is Perfect Also, we will be short about$250 to complete our home study. We will have enough to start our home study and will thankfully have several weeks to come up with the rest. Today we finished the paper work needed to start! I'm so thankful that my husband has been so "on board" and for his willingness to give up part of his weekends to do paperwork. This week we will be getting our affidavits and will notarized, and all we have to do is wait for our money to come in. I am also working on getting all our background checks out and doing our family profile. Our family profile is what the birth mothers will look at when choosing a prospective family for their baby. In the mean time, we are praying for God to bring us the perfect baby girl, as well as praying for the mother, and considering a couple girls names :)

I will keep working on it and updating it. I still have to do a page on family, friends, our house, what we like to do, a letter to the prospective birth mother, and Paul has to write one about me.

Not much

There isn't much to report right now. We are trying to get all the paper work done and waiting for our tax return. We can't do anything until we get that money, so please pray it comes in soon!! As soon as we do get the money, we will turn in a portion of our paper work and start our home study. When we've completed our home study we wait and pray to be matched with a birth mom. Also, we can apply for grants to help make our money go further.
